Welcome to Ophthalmological Society Nagpur. Since 1975, we have been committed to advancing ophthalmic education, promoting clinical excellence, fostering continuous medical learning, and strengthening quality eye care services for communities across Nagpur and the Vidarbha region.
Ophthalmological Society Nagpur (OSN) was established through decades of academic excellence and collaborative ophthalmic learning in Nagpur. Beginning with clinical meetings at GMC Nagpur, the organization created a strong foundation for professional growth and medical education.
Over the years, OSN evolved from the Nagpur Academy of Ophthalmology into a leading association representing ophthalmologists across various subspecialties. The society has continuously promoted innovation, scientific discussions, and continuing medical education activities.
Today, OSN proudly represents more than 300 ophthalmologists dedicated to advanced eye care, academic excellence, public awareness initiatives, and improving vision healthcare services across Nagpur and surrounding regions.

A massive free eye screening camp was organized by OSN in association with local NGOs. Over 150 cataract surgeries have been scheduled free of cost.
